- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
- Identity verification documents (processed by Veriff)
- Content you submit such as workshop listings, messages, and reviews

When you use wocu, we automatically collect certain information including:

- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URLs
- General geographic location based on IP address
1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from third party services including Stripe (payment processing and identity verification), Veriff (identity verification), Google (if you sign in with Google), and analytics providers.
2.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the wocu platform
- Process bookings and payments
- Verify your identity as required by our platform
- Facilitate communication between hosts and guests
- Send transactional emails such as booking confirmations, cancellation notices, and review requests

- Prevent fraud and ensure platform safety

3.How We Share Your Information
3.1 With other members
When you book a workshop, your first name and profile photo are shared with the host. When you host a workshop, your first name, profile photo, and bio are visible to guests and the general public on your workshop listing. Your full address is only shared with guests who have a confirmed paid booking.
3.2 With service providers
We share your information with trusted third party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, including:
- Stripe — payment processing and host payouts
- Veriff — identity verification
- Resend — email delivery
- Supabase — database and authentication services
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to wocu.
3.3 For legal reasons
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of wocu, our members, or the public.
3.4 Business transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and a prominent notice on our platform before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
